Sava Nicu Ionel este fondator și președinte al Asociației Psihologilor Terapeuți Sistemici de Cuplu și Familie Tomis din Constanța. Este doctor în psihologie, tema lucrării de doctorat ”Studiu asupra relaţiei personalitate – mecanisme de coping la cuplurile conflictuale – analiză comparativă pe criteriul etnic şi religios” având ca filon principal problematica cuplului conjugal. Este psiholog principal și supervizor în specialitatea psihoterapie, formarea sa având o viziune sistemică asupra problematicii domeniului cuplului și familiei. Titularizat de Universitatea ”Andrei Șaguna” din Constanța pe postul de lector la Facultatea de Psihosociologie, dl. Sava Nicu Ionel contribuie la formarea competențelor, studenților și masteranzilor ce-l au ca dascăl, specifice domeniului psihologiei. Din 2015 ocupă funcția de Director al Departamentului de Științe Socio-umane în universitatea menționată, având ca principală misiune conducerea și coordonarea acestei structuri. În 2017 își depune candidatura la alegerile democratice desfășurate de comunitatea psihologilor și este ales ca membru în Comisia de Metodologie din cadrul Colegiului Psihologilor din România, ocupând funcţia de vicepreşedinte al acestei comisii. Este membru al Asociației Psihologilor din România și contribuie prin activitatea sa didactică, practică și de cercetare la sporirea cunoașterii și la ameliorarea vieții semenilor.
Short CV/Biography of the Speaker
Sava Nicu Ionel is the founder and president of the Association of Systemic Couple and Family Therapeutic Psychologists “Tomis” from Constanta (Asociația Psihologilor Terapeuți Sistemici de Cuplu și Familie Tomis). He holds a Ph.D. in Psychology, the subject of his Ph.D. paper is “Study of the Relationship between Personality and the Coping Mechanisms at conflictual couples – comparative analysis on the ethnic and religious criteria”, having as main underlying idea the issues of the marital couple. He is main psychologist and supervisor in psychotherapy, his training focussing on a systemic vision on the marital and family related issues. Holding the title of Lecturer at the ”Andrei Șaguna” University from Constanța, within the Faculty of Psycho-Sociology, Mr. Sava Nicu Ionel is a contributor in the training of the faculty students and of the students from the master courses in the psychology. Since 2015, he has held the position of Director of the Humanities Department at ”Andrei Șaguna” University, having as main mission the management and the coordination of this structure. In 2017, he candidates in the democratic elections organized by the community of psychologists and is elected member in the Methodology Commission within the Colegiul Psihologilor din România (The Collegium of Psychologists from Romania), occupying the position of Vice-President in this commission. He is member of the Association of Psychologists from Romania (Asociația Psihologilor din România) and he is contributing, through his teaching, practical and research activity, to the increase of knowledge and the improvement of the life of his peers.
